Where O Where is Fall? In my neck of the woods today is the first day that I feel a cooler breeze in the air. Finally! My summer plants look tired and sad which is a true indication that Fall must really be here.
This weekend I am planning a few projects. One is to replace my summer wreath that you see on my front door with a fun fall wreath. It will be interesting to see what I come up with. My indoor plants are looking a little sad too so I will be trying to find some fall inspired plants to freshen things up.
Speaking of "freshening" things up, I tried the new Downy Unstopables and all I can say is WOW! This product really delivers. You know how Sparkling is always trying to find a way to make the Sparkling clothes smell great. Today, Son 2, smelled like a fresh flower the whole way to school. He would be totally embarrassed if he knew I said this. I had washed his uniform shirt with the Unstopables in the wash. You just shake a few in your washing machine and the magic happens. If you are looking for great smelling laundry then these are a must.

Speaking of past-their-prime summer blooms...I finally bit the bullet and pulled out all of them, and put them on the compost heap. 'Tis the season.
I am so proud of your pansy pulling party. I am about to have one myself. I ordered all white flowers for my fall and winter garden. I should be picking them up today...they were supposed to come in on the "truck".
