AHHH, finally we have Fall in my neck of the woods. We had our first cold snap last night and it felt really great. All I can think about is making a big pot of something so I intend on trying something new from my recipe collection. More on that later.
I thought I would take a few photos of the fall decorations around my house. I just love this time of year. It is so much fun without any pressure.
In the first photo you see my dining room table with three white pumpkins surrounded by fall berries. This was not my own inspiration but one I saw on the cover of Better Homes and Gardens magazine. The second photo is of a wicker pumpkin that I found several years ago and just love. The third is of my beautiful glass vases filled with Bittersweet vines. The fourth one is of a pumpkin I found at a really cute shop close to my house. (sorry I chopped the photo off). And the last is a story all in itself. This little glass jar never leaves my counter. It is always filled with a little treat and I follow the seasons with what I put in it. I love, love, love the candy corn and apparently so does the rest of my family because I keep having to refill it.
Tomorrow I plan on going through my recipes to find a new soup to make. Stay tuned for what I find.
